Dart's "Iron Eagle" line of new generation high performance cast iron heads combines the latest advances in design and manufacturing technology into economical packages ideally suited for any application from Super Comp racers to street use.

 

• Four intake port sizes: 180cc, 200cc, 215cc, 230cc, cover applications from street to all-out racing.
• Standard port location and intake bolt pattern fit most manifolds.
• Pushrod holes are enlarged for clearance with high-ratio rocker arms.
• Combustion chambers available with choice of 64cc or 72cc volume to tailor compression ratio to individual requirements.
• Heart-shaped chambers improve combustion efficiency and fit most standard pistons.
• Multi-angle intake seats and radiused exhaust seats dramatically increase airflow.
• Hardened exhaust seats are compatible with unleaded gasoline.
• Magnesium bronze intake valve guides and phosphorous bronze exhaust valve guides extend cylinder head life.
• Spark plug holes are machined for tapered seat 5/8" hex "peanut" plugs.

IRON EAGLE S/S VORTEC HEADS

Vortec Bare, standard replacement heads. Vortec Heart Chamber, 67cc Chamber Size, 165cc Port Volume, Center Bolt Rockers Only, Straight Plug, 1.94 Intake Valves, 1.60" Exhaust Valves.
Heads have a 7/16" pushrod hole requiring self aligning style rocker arms. Can also be machined for guide plates.
